Summit Technopolis announces another investor at Bangabandhu Hi-Tech City, Vibrant Software to set up venture of USD 40 million

Summit Technopolis Limited, a subsidiary of Summit Group, signed a land lease agreement with Vibrant Software (BD) Limited, a UK-Bangladesh joint venture for setting up Modular Tier-3 Data Centre, ATM manufacturing plant and mobile phone assembling plant on 24th May 2017, Wednesday in Radisson Blu Hotel, Dhaka. These three plants will be constructed in Block -5 of Bangabandhu Hi-Tech City, Kaliakoir, Gazipur.
Honourable State Minister, ICT Division of Ministry of Posts, Telecommunication and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP was present as the Chief Guest.
Muhammed Aziz Khan, Chairman said, Summit is building a 150 MW power plant in Kodda, Gazipur that will directly supply electricity to the Bangabandhu Hi-Tech City. He also appreciated government’s investor-friendly policies and regulations especially on digitalizing Bangladesh and invited hi-tech investors to set up their facilities in Summit Technopolis.
Secretary of ICT Division Subir Kishore Choudhury, Vice Chairman of Summit Power Latif Khan, were present as the Special Guests along with other officials.
